About Us

At Centennial Campus Center for Innovation Magnet Middle School, innovation is more than a theme - it's the way we learn.

Using Design Thinking and the Characteristics of an Innovator, students engage in creative problem-solving, learning to think differently, pushing boundaries, and developing real-world solutions.

Through hands-on projects, partnerships with NC State University, and showcasing student-created work, we empower learners to explore their ideas, thrive in an ever-changing world, and grow into tomorrow's innovators.

Mission Statement

The Wake County Public School System will provide a relevant and engaging education and will graduate students who are collaborative, creative, effective communicators and critical thinkers.

Vision Statement

CCMMS cultivates innovation through intentional experiential learning that builds the capacity of students and empowers them to become creative problem-solvers in an ever-changing world.

  • Curious – asking questions and seeking deeper understanding
  • Growth-Minded – viewing effort and mistakes as part of learning
  • Communicative – expressing ideas clearly and listening with purpose
  • Resilient – persisting through obstacles and setbacks
  • Reflective – thinking critically about their learning and growth
  • Courageous – taking risks and standing confidently in their ideas
  • Empathetic – understanding and valuing the perspectives of others

These characteristics empower our students to think creatively, solve problems, and make a meaningful impact both in and beyond the classroom.
